Hello, I’m Sister Smith an Emergency Department and ENT Advanced Clinical Practitioner, educator, and now an author with a passion for nursing history and storytelling.

My background has always been in the fast-paced world of ED and ENT, balancing clinical care with teaching and mentoring.

 Alongside that career, I faced my own personal challenges. After years of painful struggles to start a family, I found myself 

happily pregnant at 41. 

Then came COVID. Like many, I was forced to pause and reflect  to ask myself what really mattered, and what I wanted from life.

One realisation was that I’d never truly given myself a creative outlet. So I dug out a box of unfinished manuscripts from nearly 15 years earlier & decided to give publishing a go 

This has snowballed into something bigger than I ever imagined.  Now here I am with so many projects and side projects and manuscripts to finish,  I cant wait to share them all with you.
